John made his very first 360 interactive back in 2007, in partnership with fellow photographer and documentary-maker Guilhem Alandry. Together they recorded the experiences of refugees living in camps in Lebanon, capturing their challenges and hardships to support the work of charitable projects back in the UK. This work is part of a permanent exhibit at P21 Gallery. Fascinated by this new way of storytelling but frustrated by the software available at the time, John immediately set about developing his own interactive platform to create 360 experiences – to bring together photographs, video footage and audio capture and create true multimedia experiences. Thanks to Nassari 360, a whole new generation of creatives will get to enjoy telling stories and capturing projects in a modern, engaging and unforgettable way. In this talk, John shares the 360 worlds he has created over the last 10 years and reveals the software behind the works that makes it happen.
