New at photokina: Deep Art Effects

From a photo to an individual piece of art with Deep Art Effects

Upload the photo, select the artistic filter, save the photo - that is how simply the "Deep Art Effects" app works. The founders of the art app, which is in the meantime used all over the world, come from Karlsruhe. The feedback is sensational, the app has been downloaded several million times already, over 150 million images have been generated. Transform landscape photos into paintings, lend underexposed photos fantastic colour effects or add a special touch to selfies - this photo filter app enables this and much more.

Deep Art Effects uses artificial intelligence to analyse and interpret the style and structures of well-known pieces of art. With the aid of this interpretation the artistic style can be transferred to a chosen photo and applied. Simple photos can be turned into breath-taking pieces of art. Deep Art Effects gives a free rein to one's fantasy. How would Picasso, Kandinsky or van Gogh have painted it?

Deep Art Effects will be exhibiting at photokina for the first time in September 2018 and will present the current development status of the software and technology in the IMAGING LAB in Hall 5.1. The visitors will be given the opportunity to test Deep Art Effects live on-site. Art prints that have been created using Deep Art Effects will also be on display.

We connect the theme photo/video with art. photokina is thus the perfect platform for us to present this product. People all over the globe use our technology to transform photos into pieces of art and express their creativity. As software manufacturers, we are delighted at this opportunity of coming into direct contact with the customers and the corresponding feedback this will generate.
