Admission ticket serves as public transport ticket
For the duration of the respective trade fair, all admission tickets and trade fair passes that display the symbol of the Verkehrsverbund Rhein-Sieg (VRS) are valid for free travel on busses, S-Bahns (commuter trains), underground trains, and regional trains within the extended VRS network. They are only valid for travel to and from the Koelnmesse exhibition centre. Not included are Deutsche Bahn trains that are subject to a supplementary charge as for instance IC/EC or ICE.
